Step 1: To make an online safari booking, travelers have to visit the website ranthambhorebooking.in . This website allows people to see the information about the park, like it’s best time to visit, how to reach, history, animals found, etc. And, you can also make a safari booking by providing some basic details.

Step 2: On the website, go to the safari booking page and fill in your basic details on the top form of that page. These details include

  Safari Date: Choose the date on which you have to go inside the park for your thrilling safari ride. (You can make a booking 120 days in advance)

•  

  Safari Mode: Choose the safari type that you want for exploring the park. You can either choose a Gypsy Safari or a Canter Safari

•  

  Safari Zone: Select the zone in Ranthambore where you want to go (Zone 1 to 7 or Zone 8 to 10). You cannot choose a particular zone as the forest department provides zones as per availability - they allot the zones themselves.

•  

  Preferred Time Slot: You can choose to make a booking for a morning safari or an afternoon safari - whichever you like and suits your trip.

•  

  Your Name: To make a booking, you will need to fill in your full name as per your government-issued ID.

•  

  Mobile Number: A valid number, make sure that it works. On that number, you will receive calls, updates, and confirmation messages related to the booking.

•  

  Email Address: Enter an active email where the confirmation message and receipt will be sent after the booking is successfully made.

After filling in this section, click on “Next” or “Proceed” to go to the next page.

Step 3: You have to fill out the second form that will appear. On this form, you’ll get a longer form asking for more personal and travel details. On top of this form, you can see the previous details and recheck them. In this form, you have to fill in the details that help the authorities in maintaining proper records of who is going inside the park.

Step 4: In this form, you will be required to add your address. Select your home state from the drop-down list and write your full address with house number, street name, city, district, and pincode. Make sure it matches your ID proof exactly, or you could face issues later.

Step 5: Then fill in the details of all passengers who are going on the safari. Now this step has 2 different types according to the safari you’re choosing

In case of Canter Safari - You have to fill out the passenger booking details of people who are going on the safari one by one. Just enter the name, age, gender, nationality, state, ID type (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, or PAN Card), and mention the number of that ID. Then you have to upload an image of the ID proof. After that, you can move and add passengers one by one ( you can fill in details of up to 20 passengers).

In case of Gypsy Safari - You have to fill out the passenger booking details of people who are going on the safari one by one. Just enter the name, age, gender, nationality, state, ID type (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, or PAN Card), and mention the number of that ID. Then you have to upload an image of the ID proof. In this form, you can fill in the details of up to 6 passengers because only 6 people can go on a ride. If more people are there for a gypsy safari, then you have to make another booking from the start.

  Make sure all the information that you fill in at this stage matches your ID details. If there is a spelling, number, or any mistake, then the safari can be cancelled on the spot.

Step 6: Before you proceed to payment, make sure to carefully read the Terms & Conditions and Cancellation/Refund Policy. This information will include all the rules and requirements for cancellations and charges, etc. Read these before making the payment. After that, tick the box that says something like “I agree to the terms and conditions and cancellation policy.” Without checking the box, your booking will not move further.

Step 7: You will be able to see the amount that you have to give for your booking. Make sure to check the amount before making the payment. The amount will be calculated according to

•  

  The number of passengers

•  

  Safari type (Gypsy or Canter)

•  

  Safari zone and time slot

•  

  Vehicle and guide fees

Step 8: You have to click on “ make payment, “ and then you can pay the amount for your booking by using various methods like:

•  

  Debit Card / Credit Card

•  

  UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.)

•  

  Net Banking

Complete the payment and wait for the confirmation message or email. Your safari permit will either be emailed to you or will be given in a PDF on a number.
